Manavata is an international charity with branches in the UK, US and India. Its objectives are to promote a Healthy, Happy and Harmonious society. It is a secular organisation with spiritual roots. It promotes sustainable development and eco-friendly approach to modern life. It runs Yoga Classes, Healthy living/Personality development/Value based education Classes in the UK as well as various Charity events – Please see Manavata for more details.

A need for a second scout group in this area was felt and together with the Scouts organisation we have started this new Scout Group. Ameer Cheema the District Commissioner for Scouts has provided a lot of inputs and help in the formation of this group. It is planned to use this as a pilot model to roll out further groups in various places.

The investiture ceremony of the group is on the 28, March at Trinity Church Hall from 3pm to 7pm.  Regular sessions will be run from April,2015.

We invite children who are interested in joining to meet us for a discussion. Please contact the Manavata Scout Group leader Leena Thomas for more details.
