Dear friends,
Rudrabhisheka is a ritual of worshiping Lord Shiva in his Rudra form, in which a Shivalinga is bathed in water and other offerings like Panchamruta, fruit juices etc, with accompaniment of the chanting of Vedic mantra called the Rudra Suktha.
All are welcome to attend the event and it is free for non-participants (register your details). Please pass on this message to your friends.
Celebrating Maha Shivratri by Rudrabhishekam is one of the main rituals and it would be a great opportunity to seek blessings that bring prosperity and happiness in our family on this auspicious day.
This year too priests coming to Basingstoke to perform Rudrabhishekam and each family/couple have opportunity to perform Abhishekam on your own Shivalinga.
- Venue – Chute House, Church Street, Basingstoke, RG21 7QT
- When – Monday 04 Mar 2019 from 6 pm till 10 pm
- Participant’s Cost – Priest’s Dakshina, Puja items/hall expenses would be shared among us i.e. £30 per family
- For whom – Men do the pooja/’abhishekam’ to shivalinga and women assist in providing required offerings
- Registration – Before 27 Feb 2019, register @ link attendees number e.g 2 adults 1 kid.
Limited places are available due to hall space, so request participants to register that help us to arrange Shivalinga, Pooja and Prasadam arrangements.
