Dear friends,

Rudrabhisheka is a ritual of worshipping Lord Shiva in his Rudra form, in which a Shivalinga is bathed in water which is continuously poured over it, with accompaniment of the chanting of Vedic mantra called the Rudra Suktha. This year the auspicious Maha Shivaratri is on 24th Feb on Friday.

Celebrating Maha Shivratri by Rudrabhishekam is one of the main rituals and it would be a great opportunity to seek blessings from LORD SHIVA on this auspicious day.

This year we have 3 priests coming to Basingstoke to perform Rudrabhishekam and each family/couple have opportunity to perform Abhishekam on your own Shivalinga.

Venue – Aldworth School, Western Way, Basingstoke, RG22 6HA

When – 24th Feb 5:30 pm onwards till 9:30 pm

Cost – Priest’s Dakshina, Puja items/hall expenses would be shared among us

For whom – Men do the pooja/’abhishekam’ to shivalinga and women assist them in providing required materials and offerings

Registration – Limited spaces available, so registrations help us to make the necessary hall, Shivalinga, Pooja and Prasadam arrangements

Please don’t miss this opportunity and register by 15th Feb Wednesday either email to kalyan.petluru@manavata.org or text the details of participants, email ID to 07501069241.

The registered people will get separate email with the list of items to bring.

Thanks,
