Viswa Manavata Samstha has launched it’s new project called University for Humanity (UFH) for sustainable development in 60 acres land to provide opportunity for practical learning and gaining experience through real time work. We are planning to take up our first batch of fellowship for top 5 selected people.

- Fellowship on Sustainable Agriculture:
- : 3 months to 6 months
- : Practice of Natural farming techniques for different types of crops. Understanding ecology, plants, soil types, seeds, cultivation processes, simple tools and sustainable methods of practice, water management, natural plant nutrition and pest control management.
- : Graduation / PG / PhD / Diploma (preferably in Agri / science background)
Candidates who are interested in learning various methods in natural farming.
Mode of selection: Interview and initial 3 days training at UFH
How it works: after 1st level training initial 3 days, deserved candidates will be working with UFH for one crop cycle at the same time, they will have to act as knowledge transfer volunteers and mentors for some of the farmers. This is more of a practice at field to gain real experience with bit of class room orientation. Fellow should be self-driven working with experienced practitioners and gain experience with full time work for 3 months.
Work Pattern: 30 hours of class room, 30 hours of library, 300 hours of field work, 100 hours of documentation and planning work.
The candidate must take leadership in learning and work with villages and farmers after the training is provided. The candidate must create awareness among the farmers about natural farming and encourage them to practice the same. He must work towards providing sustainability in the village in natural farming.
- will be paid for deserved candidates for living expenses or accommodation and food will be organized at UFH campus.

- Fellowship: Information Technology for Sustainable Development
Course Duration: 3 months to 6 months
- : Innovation, technology, simple solutions for common man problems, apps development for biodiversity, sustainability of environment and health.
- : Btech, Mtech, MCA, MSc, BSc (preferably in CS /Engineering / science background)
Candidates who are interested in working with new innovative ideas and technology.
Mode of selection: Interview and initial 3 days training at UFH
How it works: after 1st level training initial 3 days, deserved candidates will be working with UFH for complete lifecycle of technology innovation projects in the area of sustainable development and innovation. Fellow should be self-driven working with experienced practitioners and gain experience with full time work for 3 months.
Work Pattern: 30 hours of class room, 30 hours of library, 300 hours of development, 100 hours of documentation and planning work.
The candidate must take leadership in learning and work with end users to understand real time problems and to bring right, workable, affordable solutions. Importantly must understand sustainable development methods in different work areas.

- Fellowship on Medicinal Plants:
Course Duration: 3 months to 6 months
Who can apply: Candidates who are interested in learning about the cultivation and use of medicinal plants can apply. The candidate must take leadership in learning and work with villages/city after the training is provided. The candidate must create awareness among the people about the medicinal plants and encourage them to practice the same. He must work towards providing sustainability in the village in terms of health.

- Fellowship in Health Sciences:
Course Duration: 3 months to 6 months
Who can apply: Candidates who are interested in learning about treatment of various ailments using Yoga / Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Naturopathy can apply. The candidate must take leadership in learning and work with villages/city after the training is provided. The candidate must take the responsibility to be a life style/wellness coach and create awareness among the people about Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Naturopathy and encourage them to practice the same. He must work towards providing sustainability in the village in terms of health.
